904 Life: Budweiser Brewery Tour

Did you know that Anheuser-Busch operates 12 breweries throughout the United States? Five of those locations offer Brewery Tours and one is located right here in Jacksonville, FL. To celebrate turning 21 one of the things my son wanted to do was tour the Budweiser Brewery with this Dad.  (Worked out fine for me as I was wiped from the previous midnight celebrations). Hubby and I have toured the facilities before with our out of town guests.  What we didn't know is that there are four different tours you can take.
COMPLIMENTARY BREWERY TOUR Our self-guided tour;offers visitors of all ages and in-depth look at how some of America’s favorite beers are crafted, using the finest all natural ingredients, by following it through the steps of the entire brewing and packaging processes. Along the way you will also explore the rich history and heritage of Anheuser-Busch.
All guests 21 and older receive a complimentary serving of Budweiser at the tour entrance.

GUIDED BREWERY TOUR
Accompany a guide through a more in-depth and comprehensive tour experience, including details of our brewing heritage and state of the art technology.  Other highlights of this tour include an oral history of our company from its birth through prohibition.
All guests 21 and older receive a complimentary serving of Budweiser at the tour entrance.Cost for this tour:   $10.00 for guests 21 and above (I.D. required), $5.00 for ages 8 – 20, 7 and under free (1 soda or water provided to guests under 21)
Those 21 and older will receive a tasting glass and choice of beverage in our Tap Room at the conclusion of this tour.
JACKSONVILLE BEER SCHOOL
Beer School is a fun, interactive, and informative experience that explains the steps for beer appreciation. The class is about 45 minutes long, and introduces you to a variety of beer styles, ingredients, proper pouring techniques, and food-pairing suggestions. Discover your new favorite beer as you participate on a taste panel led by an official beer school instructor. This program is limited to guests who are 21 years of age or older, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $15 per person, which includes the class and gifts for the beer connoisseur.

JACKSONVILLE BEERMASTER TOUR
Stimulate your senses and satisfy your curiosity as you explore the art of brewing on the Anheuser-Busch Beermaster Tour. The tour provides a unique opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing of Budweiser.On the Jacksonville Beermaster Tour you will visit the Brew Hall, Primary Fermentation Cellar, Lager Cellar, Packaging Facility, Quality Assurance and Finishing Cellar, including a sample directly from a Finishing Tank!
Reservations are required. The Beermaster Tour costs $30 for visitors ages 21 and older and $20 for visitors ages 13-20. To commemorate your experience, a variety of gifts are provided to you as our guest.

     It was his 21st so the boys decided to book into the Beer School.  Their tour group was small, only 6 people, which allowed for great interaction with their host. What we didn't know before was that if you celebrate your 21st with Budweiser your tour is free.  In addition to that Budweiser also provides all guests who visit the Brewery while they are 21 with a gift bag of goodies!
